Three Main Models:
1. Hard Maple
Maple is used by most of the MLB for a reason because it is extremely hard. Our hard maple feels great and leaves you with a satisfied feeling all the time.
2. Ink Dotted
Every bat is ink dotted to ensure that it is within the 3 degrees for use in the MLB. We want to make sure that everyone has the best wood, not just MLB players.
3. Bone Rubbed
Bone rubbing bats allows for the wood to compress and get extremely hard. By doing this multiple times in our process it allows the bat to feel even harder.
4. Hardened For Pop
Hardening the bat through the paint we use is key to locking in wood. This allows you to have a hard bat swing after swing after swing.
The Best Wood Around
The reason we don't talk much about the wood we have is because we believe we have the best around, like every other company. Homegrown Bats cares about giving back to the community as much as the quality of our bats.
We ensure that every bat that goes out from a training bat to Homegrown Cares bat that they are hard maple, bone rubbed, wood hardened, and given the best handmade care that we can.
APOLLO RISING IS OUR LINE OF BATS THAT GIVES BACK EVEN MORE.
Apollo Rising is another line of bats, that may cost a little more, but that’s so we can give more back to charities that help our communities. We have multiple different ribbons you can donate to, charities like: St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital to Wounded Warrior Project and many more.
For each bat sold, we donate $15 to the charity of that bat design, and another $5 ($2.50 each) to two other charities (#TeamTrees and Good Sports).

YOU CAN HELP
Not only do we give back with our APOLLO Rising line of bats, for every item (bat, apparel, etc.) sold, we donate some of the proceeds to our selected charities. The charities we are currently working with are #TeamTrees and Good Sports. #TeamTrees is a non-profit organization that plants one tree for every dollar donated. Good Sports is also a non-profit organization who's mission is to give all kids the lifelong benefits of sport and physical activity by providing equipment, apparel and footwear to those most in need.
